We have been out for a while, but only because we have a lot of ideas boiling behind the scenes. More on this soon!!! There is an extra long weekend coming up with a lot of great events. So for those of you that have a little staycation planned, here is our proposal for a fun and exciting weekend!
This week, the weekend starts on Wednesday night! And what better way to start your evening than with a lovely drink, on a beautiful location with great tunes and great company? Modified is onto their second edition already and will take place in boutique Ayanne. With sets of Dj’s such as Eagl, Murkie & Nocta we can guarantee a party. Entrance is free and for the early birds, there are free drinks too so don’t hesitate to stop by!
All information can be found here.
Perfect party to follow afterwards is ‘2 Chinezen’ in Gouvernement. As the name suggests, it’s a rare occasion that the 2 local Asian musical influencers Thang and Boris Kortom play together. And once more: free entrance. How lucky are we?
The weather will be AMAZING for once and it’s a national holiday. This can only mean one thing: dayparty! The place to be on Thursday is Treehouse: a one-day house festival that takes place in Ottergemsesteenweg. Tickets are selling out fast so hurry up!!!
And for all you skaterboys and girls: it might be the day to leave your beloved #9000 territory for a day and head over to Aalst for the skate festival Betong.
Friday is the first edition of HART: the first crowdfunded electronic music festival in the world. They offer you an 18-hour rave with the most exciting house and techno artists around! So get ready to party around the clock and buy your tickets here.
This Saturday it’s worth the while to jump on your bike and head over to Kerk in Gentbrugge since there will be plenty of activities all day long. You can do some shopping at the closet sale, lay back and enjoy the sun at Kerkhof and in the evening shake yo thang at Kerk Discotheek.
Perfect combo for a Sunday: food and art. Drop by at the food truck festival Mercado by Barrio Cantina in the Sint Niklaaskerk and enjoy Belgian’s finest street food.
After we filled our hung-over bellies, we are ready to enjoy the street art festival Sorry not sorry by KAPOW with live jam sessions and skateboarding. Come over and enjoy the sun and your last drinks with your friends. A perfect ending to a sunny weekend if you ask me!
