When I first laid eyes on the new H&M Studio Collection for this autumn, I fell in love. I don’t know what H&M’s secret is, but their limited edition collections always hit the spot. This collection has created a world of space age – seventies looks, with an interesting contrast between more solid and stiff fabrics in monochrome, neutral colours and on the other hand flowy fabrics in bold prints.
I had to share my enthusiasm about this dope collection with the only person who would be able to handle it: colleague and fellow blogger Nathalie from Yayzine. We started fantasizing and figured a blogger collaboration between Yayzine and Ghentstreets just had to happen! We both chose our favorite pieces from the collection and styled them in a look.
The camel oversized jacket had my name written all over it. It’s the minimal version of a teddy bear coat. The details in the finishing are just gorgeous. I am just crazy about the colour as well. You can wear it with neutral colours and whites or choose some contrast like I did and wear it with a more popping colour.
Nathalie’s fierce look can be found here. What I love is her bold and eclectic personal style. I see her everyday in the office and I must say there is never a dull day when it comes to fashion in Nathalie’s world. I love that she always picks the pieces I would never go for and totally rocks them. Here for example: she combined a printed dress with golden pants – something I would never think off. She is a true inspiration when it comes to fashion!

It will hit stores on 10 September and will be available in Brussels, Antwerp and online. As for me? I have my list prepared and I’m already counting the days when the H&M x Balmain collection will launch!
