I’m so happy to be part of Ghentstreets. One of my favourite things about being part of this team is to have so many talented and creative people surrounding me! We all have our own skills and talents and one of the best things is to throw these together.
One of our teammembers, Delphine Otte, is a great photographer. I love her style and eye for natural light. As a make-up artist myself, I wanted to do a shoot with her from the very beginning. We decided it was time to finally join forces and had a very productive day shooting 4 models with different looks.
We wanted to share the result with you and are curious to hear what you think! Today, we present you our first looks on models Justine & Moon.
I love experimental makeup looks! I have a whole collection of photo’s on my pinterest. Watching this collection inspires me to make my own looks. For Justine, I was inspired by Dutch artist Piet Mondriaan. I only used colors red, yellow and blue between a geometric figure. Outside the figure, I contoured with black.
I also wanted a nice beauty-look, without the obvious ‘beautylook-posing’. Moon was the perfect model for this, because of her poppy face and mysterious looks she can give…
Don’t forget to tune in next week for part 2 of this collaboration!
